HISTORICAL PLACES

  Each place has its own history and this places played a very important role to execute the happenings in the past which makes then historical.

  Here are some historical places in the municipality of Bulan. 

SAN FRANCISCO

•Japanese  tunnel

•Have 6 tunnels

•The Japanese use this tunnel to  fight for American liberation forces year 1944.  

STA. REMEDIOS

•Japanese war shelter

•An air-raid shelter of Japanese located at Sta. Remedios Elementary School.

•Connected to the air –raid shelter located at Aquino in Bulan North Central School-A.

Immaculate Conception Subdivision

•Intramuros also called Banuang daan

•In year 1799, it was a church, market and center of Bulan.

•Year 1809 , became camp of Japanese.

ZONE-8

•Civil Cemetery was the place where the Chinese Martyrs was buried.

• June 13, 1942 in Barrio of Gate shot by the Japanese .

•Suspected as a group of guerilla. 

SAN RAFAEL

•Moog bantayan also called Moro watchtower.

•Year 1790, the Spaniards founded the moog.
